Clerkship Opportunities

Each year Anthony Harper welcomes students into their Tāmaki Makaurau and Ōtautahi offices as part of their summer law programme, giving you a taste of what it’s like to be a lawyer.

Offer a summer clerk programme designed for law students in their penultimate year.

Accept summer clerks from November through to February each year with the main recruitment drive in March, with interviews in April and May.

Each year Mayne Wetherell welcomes law students from across New Zealand to apply for graduate and summer clerk positions.

Auckland-based law students can get ahead of the pack through our intern programme, which provides third-year law students the opportunity to gain practical, paid legal work experience in our Auckland office during the academic year (March – September).

Applications for all programmes open on Thursday 7 March and close on Tuesday 2 April.
