The College of Law New Zealand delivers a range of programmes that focus on providing lawyers with the practical skills they require throughout their careers.

About The College of Law

Our Professional Legal Studies Course aims to bridge the gap between the theoretical understanding of law you gained at university and legal practice. The interactive course is taught by experienced practitioners, is the only Profs course to offer electives and can be conducted completely online or with onsite workshops.

You can set yourself apart in the legal industry by upgrading your Profs to an international qualification with our Graduate Diploma of Legal Practice.

We offer the opportunity to specialise or accelerate your learning in a new area of practice, with a Master of Laws (Applied Law) programme. The focus of the LLM is on developing technical and practical proficiency through innovative problem-based learning in your chosen practice area.

All our programmes rely on learning by doing — the application of legal skills to realistic tasks and scenarios that practitioners encounter in practice.

For further details on the programmes offered please contact the College on 0800 COLLAW or enquiries@collaw.ac.nz.
